[get up & go] Week 7.

Serious, SERIOUS lack of motivation this week. I won’t go into detail. Let’s just say… let’s just say I’d like a do-over.

I’m going to keep this short. What motivates you? Think about that. WHAT? The fear of failing? Getting healthier for your family? The thrill of being better than someone else? Being able to fit into your favorite old jeans?

I’m motivated by the idea of being a better version of myself.

AND?

New sports bras.

Like I said. This week’s goals were a total flop. If my goal was to run 3 miles, do the 30 Day Shred twice, and eat really healthy, I’d be a winner of this week. But those weren’t my goals. They’re good things to do, though, so I’m going to give myself the benefit of the doubt that I can keep up a healthy lifestyle.

And like I said, sport-related retail therapy always helps, too.

P.S. My upcoming week’s goal is to work on “balance”. How to balance healthy foods, a healthy workout schedule, and healthy/positive thoughts. Because I’ve found I can really focus on one of those things, but then the others get pushed off to the side. This week, running got pushed off to the side. And I don’t want that to happen again.
