Date Night.
Our date night dinner was eaten at the small but classy Riccardo’s in the North End : Nate got stuffed calamari goodness with linguini, I got butternut squash ravioli goodness with walnuts and weird carrot sauce. And white wine. And bread with oil. We followed that up with some cannoli (amaretto & chocolate chip) from none other than Mike’s Pastry.
Then we walked and talked and held hands and existed. It was great.
One of today’s realization included the order of seasons in which I enjoy being around Boston the most: Autumn. Christmas. Summer. Autumn is so less packed with crazies and I obviously don’t get as sweaty, which makes it more enjoyable to walk around for longer periods of time. And people wear really cute clothes, so now I have a lot of ideas of what kind of fall boots I want to get. Thanks all you fashionable Bostonites.
So, chaps, if you want to visit Boston… COME NOW! It’s lovely!
