[2//23] Sandy Neck.
Happy Saturday, ya’ll.
Nathaniel & I road-tripped an hour to Sandy Neck beach in Cape Cod. While we drove, it started to pour & lightning & thunder & was just ugly outside. It was still pretty bad when we arrived at the beach, so the parking dude was like “Oh, it’s raining, parking is free.” WHOHOO!! Thank you for saving us 20 bucks parking dude!
We skipped rocks. Found shells. And waited for the sun.
And guess WHAT. It showed up (hollaaaaa).
To celebrate, we lounged on our blanket. Ate snacks. Dipped our feet in the water. (I) tanned (Nate burned). Read books. Slept. Dodged seagulls. People watched. Daydreamed.
You know, all the normal beach day stuff.
It was good.
P.S. Forgive my wannabe Instagram-esque editing mood today. It felt right.
