[a blustery day at the beach]

Last Friday, while I was visiting Nathaniel and his family, we took a short-lived, but lovely trip to the beach in Rhode Island. Short-lived because it was suuuuuper windy (and cold!). Too windy, even, to fly kites, our original reason for going. But we had a nice picnic, laughed a lot and sort of felt bad for the seagulls trying so hard to fly and actually get somewhere.

[Editor’s note: The word blustery only reminds me of one thing. Winnie the Pooh & the Blustery Day. And yes, I just linked you to 22 minutes of that movie. You’re welcome.]
